Another Ro-Busters veteran, FRED-2L (or Ro-Jaws to his mates), suffered from faulty language and obedience circuits from the day he was built. They earned him a spell in prison before he was sold off to a variety of new owners and forced into a wide array of jobs. Eventually, he found himself being handed over to Ro-Busters Disasters Ltd., where he befriended an ex-war droid called Hammerstein, and had several run ins with the resident pscyho Mek-Quake.
Although Ro-Jaws served his time with the squad well, the Ro-Busters boss Howard Quartz had decided to get rid of his two most troublesome employees, and packed them off on a ship with several other members of the squad, which he planned to destroy and claim the isurance for. Learning of the plan from Quartz's secretary Miss Marilyn, the ex-sewer droid found himself thrust to the front of a robot revolution, and a desperate bid to find a mysterious planet that robots had claimed as their own.
After a long time unaccounted for, Ro-Jaws found work in a hotel out in The Gothic Empire, where, due to a staff shortage, he was drafted in as personal valet to Nemesis The Warlock. As the struggles between Termight and the Empire escalated, Ro-Jaws became a valuable aide to Nemesis, even saving his life during a confrontation with Torquemada. He also managed to squeeze in a reunion with Hammerstein, when the ageing war droid was re-programmed to assassinate the Goth Queen Victoria. Ro-Jaws stuck with Nemesis for several years, proving himself to be a valuable member of the team over and over, and even became The Warlock's best man at his second wedding. When Nemesis dispatched the ABC Warriors into the Time Wastes of Termight, he put Ro-Jaws into the ranks as a replacement for The Mess. During the mission he was temporarily replaced by Terri but re-took his position after her untimely death.
Traveling to the planet Hekate with The Warriors, Ro-Jaws found a temporary job as a barman in The Piston Broke (where the team recruited their seventh member Morrigun), but decided to follow Deadlock back to his Kollege of Khaos on Tiamat's Komet. After all, he is (as Deadlock pointed out) a lord of rebellion who understands the twisting tides of Khaos even better than The Grand Wizard himself.
Ro-Jaws currently resides at the Kollege.
