| ANDY McDERMOTT |
|
Once a 2000AD writer (literally once - Prog 749), Andy McDermott now scrapes out a living as a film critic and editor of Hotdog magazine, spending his spare time writing novels and attempting to sell them. His fascination with robots began with the first 'proper' book he ever read - Isaac Asimov's 'I, Robot' - at the age of five or six, when he was bitterly disappointed to learn that robots didn't actually exist. Since then, it's been a constant source of delight for him to find fictional robots like Bender from Futurama (another obsession), or the ABCs themselves, that aren't limited by any wussy restrictions on harming humes. Bring on the big jobs! |
